Vinayak Marbles

If you head down Bedla Road you will find us at Vinayak Marbles. It is a local road with a lot of regular traffic and we have been sitting here watching the area change over the years. We keep a variety of marble stones in our yard and we spend the morning hours splashing water on them so people can see the real color and shine hidden under the quarry dust. It is a lot of physical work and our boots are usually wet or muddy by the end of the shift. We don't have a big team just a few of us who know how to handle the slabs without breaking them. The sun hits the yard in the afternoon and it gets quite warm so we usually take a small break in the shade when we can. We like being on Bedla Road because it feels like a community and we recognize the regulars who drive past every day. There is no corporate vibe here at all just some guys working with stone and trying to make a living. We keep the inventory moving and sometimes we get some really nice pieces that we are almost sad to see go. It is a simple business and we like the fact that people can just drop in and see what we have without any pressure. We just show you the stone and let you decide for yourself.
