Vinayak Marble & Granite

Our yard, Vinayak Marble & Granite, is tucked away in the back side of Gandhi Pathshala in Sukher. It is a little different being near a school. You hear the bells ringing and the kids playing during their breaks. It is a nice change from the usual heavy engine noises on the main road. We do both marble and granite, so our yard is a bit of a mix of different colors and textures. Granite is a lot heavier and tougher to handle, but it is popular for kitchen counters. We spend a lot of time sorting through the stock to make sure we know exactly what is where. It is easy to lose track when you have so many pieces stacked up against each other. The area behind the school is a bit more relaxed than the highway front, but we still get plenty of work done every day. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything like that. We just rely on people hearing about us or stumbling upon the yard while they are looking around Sukher. Most of the time it is just us and the workers moving stone from the truck to the stacks. We have got a small shed for some shade and a place to keep the paperwork dry when it rains. It is a simple setup but it works for what we need. We just keep our heads down and focus on the stone.
