Vidhya Electronics is tucked away in Bapu Bazar, specifically in the Jogiwara, Nada Khada area, at number 45/181. If you know Bapu Bazar, you know it can be a maze. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We deal with all sorts of electronic bits and pieces. The shelves are packed with boxes, some of which have been there for a bit too long. It’s a narrow shop, like many in this part of town. When two customers stand inside, it already feels full. We spend a lot of our time testing wires or looking at circuit boards under a bright light. The Nada Khada area is always humming with people. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long—vendors shouting, bells ringing, and people haggling. Our counter is old wood that’s been polished by people leaning on it for years. We don't have any corporate training or anything. We just learned how electronics work by fixing them over and over again. Sometimes the lights in the shop flicker, but we know exactly which wire to jiggle to fix it. People find us by word of mouth mostly. They know if they come to Bapu Bazar and ask for the electronics shop in Jogiwara, they’ll eventually end up at our door. It’s a small, busy life we have here at 45/181. We like the Jogiwara area, even with all the noise and the crowds that come through the bazaar every single day.
