Verma Tyres

Our shop is at 2 Ashok Nagar right on Town Hall Road. It’s a busy spot with cars going by all the time. I’ve been working here for quite a bit now, mostly dealing with tyres and talking to folks who stop their bikes or cars because they need something fixed. It gets pretty dusty inside, especially in the afternoons when the wind picks up. We keep a lot of stock piled up in the back. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space for everything, but we make it work. Customers usually find us because of the big sign outside, even though it’s looking a bit old these days. There’s a tea stall just down the street where I go when things get quiet. Most people who live around here know where we are. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes the traffic on Town Hall Road gets so loud you can’t hear the person standing next to you. I usually start the day by pulling up the shutters and checking what needs to be moved. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting those heavy tyres and stacking them. The floor is concrete and stays cold in the winter. We don’t have any big air conditioning or anything, just a ceiling fan that wobbles a little. It’s home for most of the week. That’s just how it is here. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next customer.
