Being right on Town Hall Road across from Tata Motors means we see a lot of vehicles every single day. At Hindusthan Tyres, we are pretty much surrounded by rubber and the smell of new tread. It is a hardworking spot, and our hands are usually a bit greasy by the time noon rolls around. The shop isn't a showroom; it is a place where work actually happens. We have stacks of tyres leaning against the walls, and the floor is concrete because it needs to take a beating. When the sun hits the road outside, it gets pretty hot, so we usually have a cold water bottle nearby. We have been at this location for a good while, and we know the regulars who drive this route. Some of them just stop by to check their air or chat for a minute while we are working on someone else's car. It is loud because of the traffic and the tools, but you get used to the noise after a few days. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we are looking up a part or checking a price. Mostly, it is just physical labor and making sure the wheels are balanced right. It is honest work, and we don't try to make it sound like anything else.
