Venus General Store

Venus General Store is located in the Madhuban area. We have been here for a long time and most of the families living around here know us by name. Our shop is a basic general store where you can find the things you need every day. We stock items like grains, spices, cleaning products, and snacks. It is a small space, so it can get a little cramped when there are more than three or four people inside at once. We have big glass jars on the front counter filled with different types of biscuits and sweets that the local kids love to buy. The walls are lined with wooden shelves that we built ourselves many years ago. They are getting a bit old now but they still hold all the weight. We do not have any fancy computers, we just write down what we sell in a big ledger. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty in here because of the wind, but we try to keep everything as clean as possible. We do not do any deliveries or anything complicated. People just walk over from their houses, pick out what they need, and have a little chat before they leave. It is a very local way of doing things. We enjoy being a part of the Madhuban neighborhood. It is not a big business, just a way for us to serve the people nearby and get by.
