Vardhman Marble

Vardhman Marble is over at 10-B, Batheda House on Fathepura Road. It’s a bit different than the big industrial yards because we are right here in a more settled area. Batheda House is a known landmark around here. We’ve had this space for years and it feels like home now. The street gets busy with local traffic and people going about their business. We keep our selection right here where people can see it. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We don't have a corporate board or anyone like that. It’s just us making sure the stone is cut right and delivered on time. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat while we are working. Fathepura Road has its own rhythm and we are part of it. We deal with marble every day, looking at the patterns and the colors. It’s heavy work, especially when the weather is humid. We don't have fancy showrooms with air conditioning. We just show the slabs as they are. People like that they can see exactly what they are getting. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Buildings go up and old ones get renovated. We are just happy to be the ones providing the stone for those projects. It’s a simple business but it keeps us on our toes. Usually, we are here from early morning until the sun goes down, just keeping things moving along.
