Vardhman Marble & Granites

Our place is out in Amberi on the NH-8 highway, so we have a good amount of space for all the granite and marble we keep in stock. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but people come out here because they can see the full slabs leaning against the walls. We spend most of our mornings checking the new loads that come in on the trucks. Granite is heavy and can be tricky to move, so we have to be careful with the crane every single day. My cousin helps me run things and we usually spend our lunch breaks sitting in the shade because the sun gets really strong on the stone. We don't really do much advertising or anything. Most folks find us just by driving past or someone tells them we have some good white marble or dark granite available. The yard gets a bit messy when we are cutting or polishing, but we try to keep the main area clear so people can walk around and look. It is a simple business, just buying stone from the mines and keeping it here for whoever needs it for their kitchen or floors. We have seen the road change a lot over the years, but the stone business stays pretty much the same. You just show up, work hard, and hope the customers are happy with what they pick out for their homes.
