Vardhman Marble And Granites

We’ve been here at National Highway No.8 in Amberi for some time now. You can find us right across from the Govt Nursery. It’s a busy spot with all the trucks going by, but we like it here. My brother and I usually start early in the morning, before the sun gets too high, because moving these heavy slabs of marble and granite is no joke when it’s hot outside. Vardhman Marble And Granites isn't a fancy place. We have our stock laid out where people can see it. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, especially when we are cutting something for a specific order, but that’s just how it is with stone. We spend a lot of time just organizing the yard so that when someone stops by, they don't have to climb over five other slabs to see the one they want. The granite looks really different when you splash a bit of water on it to show the grain, so we keep a bucket handy for that. People from all over the area come by since we’re right on the highway. It’s a straightforward business, really. We just show up, move some stone, and talk to whoever walks in. There’s always work to do, whether it's unloading a new delivery or just sweeping up the scrap pieces that break off. We don’t have any big corporate office, just our yard here in Amberi. It stays busy most days.
