Tasty Treat Chicken Corner

You can find us on Sajjan Garh Road, at Haridas ji ki magri, 24-G. It’s a small food joint where we cook chicken and serve it to the local crowd. We have a couple of stoves going and a big tandoor that stays hot all evening. The smell of roasted meat and spices usually fills the whole street. We don't have much seating, just a few stools and a counter where people stand and eat. Most of our customers take their food home in foil packs. It gets really busy after the sun goes down and everyone is looking for dinner. My hands are usually stained with turmeric and spices. The floor can get a bit slippery, so we have to wash it down constantly with soap. We don't have a printed menu that's fancy, just a board with the prices written on it. Sometimes we run out of the best cuts early and people get a bit annoyed, but that’s just how it is with fresh meat. We keep things simple and focus on the food. The heat from the kitchen is intense, especially in the summer months. But we’ve been here at Haridas ji ki magri for a while and the regular customers keep coming back for the taste they’re used to. It’s not a restaurant, just a corner where you get good food. Most nights we are cleaning up until very late.
