Tara Marble & Garnites

We spend most of our time here at Tara Marble & Garnites right on the NH-8 in Sukher. Being near the Eklingnath Petrol Pump means there is always a lot of movement around us. Big trucks pull in and out all day long and it gets pretty dusty with all the stone work going on. We have been here for a while now just handling the daily business of moving marble and granite slabs around. Sometimes the sun is really hot and makes the stones warm to touch but that is just part of the job in this area. We usually start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. You can find us checking the stock or talking to the drivers who stop by. We have different types of stones piled up and we spend our hours organizing them so people can see what we have. It is not a fancy setup but it works for us. Our yard is filled with various blocks and pieces that we have collected over time. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the pieces go where they need to. It is a lot of heavy lifting and sweating but we are used to the routine by now. People know us by the petrol pump and that makes it easy to find where we are located along the highway. I guess it isn't much to look at but we have what people need.
