Tahir Marbles

Tahir Marbles is located at Plot Number 8 on the National Highway 8. We are right in the Sukher area of Amberi, which everyone knows is a huge place for the stone business. Being right across from Arihant Marbles makes it pretty easy for customers to find us when they are driving down the highway. It is a very competitive stretch of road with shops everywhere you look, but we just focus on what we are doing. We spend most of our time out in the yard moving marble blocks and slabs around. The sun gets really hot out here on the highway, especially in the middle of the day, but the work has to get done regardless. We get a lot of people stopping by while they are traveling through the area. The yard itself is nothing special to look at, just rows and rows of marble stacked up. Some of the stone is from around here and some comes from further away. We do not have a big fancy office, just a simple desk and a few chairs where we sit and talk to folks about what they are looking for. Sometimes the dust from the cutting nearby gets on everything, so we are always wiping down the slabs so the real colors show through. It is heavy work, lifting and loading all day long. We have been at this specific spot for a long time. You get used to the constant noise of the trucks and the wind blowing the grit around.
