Suraj Machineries

My business is called Suraj Machineries and you can find us in the Tekri area, right near the Police Line. It is a part of town where you will see a lot of different workshops and hardware stores. We deal with various types of machines and all the spare parts that go with them. Most of the people who come to see us are mechanics or owners of small factories who need something fixed or are looking for a new part for their equipment. The shop is filled with heavy metal items and that smell of grease and machine oil is always hanging in the air. It is not the cleanest place in the world, but it is a working shop, so people expect a bit of dirt. I spend a lot of my day talking to customers about technical things and trying to figure out which motor or pump will work for their specific needs. We have a lot of heavy stock that requires some real lifting, so it usually keeps us pretty tired by the time we close. The location near the Police Line makes it fairly easy for people to find where we are. We have been working out of this spot for a long time. Sometimes it gets really hot inside the shop with all the metal around, especially during the summer afternoons. We have a small desk where I keep my papers and take phone calls. People come to us when they have a breakdown and need a fix.
