Sun Marble & Granites

Sun Marble & Granites is our family business located in Sukher, right across from the Lodha Petrol Pump. We have been working from this spot for quite a long time now. Most people find us because of the petrol pump across the way. It’s a busy area and the dust from the stones is everywhere. Our yard is usually full of different slabs of marble and granite. We spend our days moving these heavy pieces around with the crane. It is hard work and it gets very hot in the afternoons. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a simple room where we keep our papers and sit for a bit. My brother and I manage most of the daily tasks. We see a lot of trucks coming in from the quarries every week. Sometimes the yard gets a bit messy when we have a big shipment arriving. We just try to keep things moving. Sukher is a loud place with all the machinery and traffic on the road. We are used to it by now. People come by to look at the stone and we just show them what is available. We don’t do big sales pitches. The stone is what it is. Every piece has its own patterns and colors. We just help load them up once a choice is made. That is how we have always done it.
