Our business, Sun Shine Marbles India Pvt. Ltd., is based in Sukher at plots F-46, 47, and 48 in the industrial area. Having three plots together helps us manage all the different types of stone we have to keep. Sukher is a busy place known for its marble, and we are right in the middle of it all. There is always dust in the air and the sound of machines running nearby. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just show up in the morning, look at the orders, and start moving the stone. Most of our day is spent outside in the yard. It’s not a glamorous way to make a living, but it’s what we’ve always done. We see all kinds of people, from local families building a house to contractors from other towns. We try to keep the slabs arranged so you can actually see the patterns clearly. Sometimes the yard gets a bit messy, but we eventually get it all sorted out. We don’t have a sales team to follow you around while you look. We just let you walk through and answer your questions if you have any. It’s a family-run place, and we’ve been here long enough to know how the local trade works. We just focus on the stone.
