Pancholi Marbles

Our yard is right on N. H. 8 in the Sukher area. If you’re driving along the highway, you can’t really miss the rows of marble slabs lined up. We’re situated near Kunal Enterprises, which is a good landmark if you’re looking for us. Being on the highway means we get a lot of noise from the passing trucks and the air is always a bit gritty. We spend a lot of our time out in the sun, checking the quality of the marble and making sure everything is stacked properly so it doesn't tip over. It’s a lot of manual labor, and by the end of the day, we’re all pretty tired. We don't bother with a lot of decorations or fancy office furniture. We just have a place to sit, some tea, and the stone. People stop by all the time because they saw something they liked while driving past. We just walk them through the rows and show them what we’ve got. There is no pressure or sales talk. We just tell them what the stone is and where it came from. The Sukher area is famous for this kind of work, so we’re just one of many, but we take pride in just doing a solid day’s work. The heat can be brutal on the highway, but we just keep the water cold and keep the loaders moving. It’s a basic, honest way to make a living.
