K. G. Marbles Ltd.

We’ve been out here in Sukher for a while now. K. G. Marbles Ltd. is basically our second home. If you’ve ever been to Sukher, you know it’s the place to be if you’re looking for marble. There are lots of sheds and yards all over the place, and ours is just one of them. We don’t really do anything fancy here. We get the marble in, we look it over, and we store it until someone wants it. The machines we use are old but they still do the job just fine. It gets pretty loud when the cutting starts, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We have a small crew of workers who know their way around a slab of stone. We aren't corporate types; we’re the ones actually moving the heavy stuff. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but we manage to keep things moving along. It’s a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the week, everyone is ready for a break. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. People just know where to find us in Sukher. We’ve built a decent reputation just by showing up every day and doing what needs to be done. It’s a hard business, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills.
