Stoneone Marble (Opc) Private Limited is basically run out of Ward No 17 in Bharampuridhariyawad. I set this up as a one-person company because I wanted to do things my own way without too much fuss. My house is at number 37, and that is where the business is registered. It is a quiet neighborhood, mostly just families and small shops. I spend a lot of my time traveling to look at stone or meeting people who need marble for their new houses. It’s not a big operation with a hundred trucks. It’s just me and a couple of helpers when things get heavy. I’ve lived in Dhariyawad for a long time, so people around Ward 17 know who I am. I don't go in for those big advertisements you see in the city. I just talk to people and show them what I can get. Sometimes I have samples at the house, or we go down to where the slabs are kept. It is a slow and steady kind of life. Dealing with marble takes patience because every piece is different. You can't rush the stone. I handle the paperwork myself and make sure things are done right. It's a bit of a juggle sometimes, being the owner and the worker, but I prefer it that way. If you’re in the Bharampuri area, you can usually find me around.
