Star Communication

Our shop sits at University Road 18 and we have been here for quite a few years now. It’s a busy area with all the students and commuters passing by every day. We mostly deal with mobile phones, SIM cards, and basic repairs. It is not a huge place, just a simple counter with some stools and shelves full of accessories. I remember when we first opened, the street was a lot quieter than it is today. Now, there is always noise from the traffic and people coming in to get their data plans sorted out. We don’t have any fancy displays or expensive lighting. It’s just a practical spot where people come when they have a problem with their phone or need a new charger. My brother and I take turns behind the desk. We try to be helpful because we know how annoying it is when your phone stops working. Sometimes the shop gets a bit messy with boxes, but we know where everything is. We don't really do any big advertising or anything like that. Most of our customers are locals or students from the university who have seen our sign while walking to class. We stay open until late evening most days. It’s a good way to earn a living and we like being part of the neighborhood. We just keep things simple and do the work as it comes in.
