Sonu Pan House

Sonu Pan House is a small spot located in the Dwarkesh Market in Kankroli. We have been here for quite some time now, serving the people who come through the market for their daily needs. A pan shop is usually a place where people stop for a few minutes to talk while they wait. We keep all the different ingredients laid out in front of us—betel leaves, nuts, and all the various mixtures. It is a small space, so everything has to be within arm's reach. We do not just sell pan; we have other small items that people might need while they are out. The market can get quite busy on the weekends, and that is when we have the most people standing around. We do not have any fancy displays or lights. It is just a wooden counter and some shelves. We spend our time preparing the leaves and making sure we have enough of everything for the day. It is a quiet kind of work most of the time, until a group of friends stops by. We have seen the market grow and change over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We are not trying to do anything big, just providing a small service to the people in Kankroli. It is a simple life running a pan house, and we are happy enough with the way things are going.
