Sonic Marble

We are out in Bagwanda. It is a bit quieter than being right on the main highway, but there is still plenty to do every day. Sonic Marble has been around for a while now. We aren't a huge operation with hundreds of workers. It’s just a few of us making sure the marble gets cut and sold to the right people. The yard is a bit dusty, as you’d expect from a place like this. We spend our time managing the inventory and talking to the local builders who come by to see what we have. Bagwanda is a solid place for this kind of work because we are close to where the material actually comes from. We don't bother with any marketing stuff or fancy brochures that look too perfect. People just come by and look at the stacks themselves. Sometimes we have a lot of one kind of stone, and other times the yard looks a bit empty while we wait for the next delivery to arrive. We use a lot of water to keep things cool when the cutting is happening. It makes a mess on the floor, but that is just part of the business. We focus on getting the slabs moved out without any drama. It’s a practical way to make a living and we know our way around the different types of stone.
