Siddhi Vinayak Marble

Our place is in Bhuwana on the Nh-8. If you know where Mewar Marble is, we are right near them, but actually located behind the Lodha Filling Station. It is a very crowded area these days. It feels like every square inch of land around here has some marble stacked on it. We started Siddhi Vinayak Marble because we knew the stone business was the only thing happening in this part of town. It is not easy work. You are always looking at the sky hoping it won’t rain when you have a lot of slabs out, or hoping it’s not too hot to stay outside. We handle mostly the local varieties. People come in looking for something for their kitchen or their hall, and we just walk them through the stacks. It is a lot of walking and pointing at different patterns. We don’t have any fancy sales pitch or anything. We just show what we have in stock on that particular day. Sometimes the inventory changes fast, and other times some pieces sit there for months getting dusty. We have to wash them down every now and then so the colors pop again for the visitors. The yard is usually full of the sound of trucks and the occasional clanging of the crane. It is a busy life but it is what we know. We aren't trying to be the biggest yard, just trying to keep the place running and the slabs moving out to customers.
