You’ll find Siddharth Marmo Pvt. Ltd. out in Piparda, right off N.H.8. Being near the highway means we get a lot of dust and noise, but it’s great for the trucks. It’s a large open area because marble takes up a lot of room. There isn’t much of an office to speak of, just a small building where we keep the records and handle the paperwork. Most of our time is spent outside or in the sheds. The ground is covered in stone dust, which is pretty much unavoidable out here. We’ve been at this location for years. It’s a tough environment, especially when the sun is beating down on the highway. We don't have fancy signs or anything. If you're driving along N.H.8, you'll see the stacks of stone. That's us. It’s a simple way of life. We wake up early to beat the heat and get the heavy lifting done. The tea stall down the road is where we usually take our breaks. It’s not a polished business by any means. It’s gritty and real. We don't pretend it's anything else. People come from all over because they know we’re here in Piparda. It’s a landmark for us, even if it’s just a plot of land near the road. We just keep working, day in and day out, in the middle of all that stone and the sounds of the busy highway passing us by.
