Our place, Shri Laxmi Stone Supplier, is in Hiran Magri Eklingpura. We are in Sector-5, right opposite the Power House and near the Hospital Choraha. It is a busy spot. You can hear the hum of the power house and the traffic from the hospital intersection all day long. We deal with various stones, and our yard is usually packed with slabs and blocks. Because of the location, we get a lot of people stopping by who are just passing through the sector. It’s not a quiet job. There is the sound of stone being moved and trucks idling. We spend most of our time outside, checking the inventory and making sure things are stacked safely. The dust is a constant companion. You can't really escape it when you work with stone. We keep a small desk in the corner for paperwork, but most of the real work happens out on the ground. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the material. People come to us when they are doing construction nearby. We just show them what we have available in the yard at that moment. Sometimes we have a lot of one thing, and other times we are waiting on a shipment. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just stay here near the Hospital Choraha and keep things moving. The traffic never really stops.
