Shri Jagdamba Marmo Pvt. Ltd. is over in the Suker Industrial Area. If you know where the Bank of Baroda is, we are just right across from it. We have a lot of marble moving in and out of here every week. It is a noisy place because of the big saws and the trucks coming to load up. We deal with various slabs, mostly marble that comes from the local quarries. Our team stays busy managing the stock and talking to people who come in looking for something for their floors or counters. It is a bit of a maze in the warehouse with all the different stacks of stone. We spend a lot of time checking for cracks or weird patterns in the marble. Some pieces look great, others are just okay, and we have to sort through it all. It is mostly practical work. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of heavy stone. People around here know us because we've been in Suker for a good bit of time. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and stay on top of the cutting. Most of the work is just making sure the sizes are what people asked for. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just cutting stone and selling it to folks who need it for their building projects. We keep at it from morning until the gates close at night.
