Shreya Marbles

Shreya Marbles is tucked away over at G-1/76 in Udyog Vihar. We are close to Suner Marble if you know where that is in the Sukher area. The yard is usually full of slabs leaning against each other. It gets a bit noisy around here with all the industrial activity going on, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our mornings just checking what came in overnight and making sure the pieces aren't chipped too badly. It's dusty work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We don't really do much advertising because most people just find us while they're driving through the industrial area looking at different lots. We have been here for a good bit, just doing the same routine every day. We look at the stone, we move it, we sell it. There isn't a secret to it. Sometimes the colors of the marble vary quite a bit from one batch to the next, so we have to explain that to whoever walks in. It’s just how natural stone works. We keep our boots on and stay busy with the cranes. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, making the white stone almost too bright to look at without squinting. We just keep at it, one slab at a time, making sure things get loaded onto the trucks properly without too much fuss.
