Shree Swastic Marbles

We are over here near the Devpura petrol pump in Sukher. It’s right on the N. H. 8, so it’s easy to find us if you’re driving through this part of Rajasthan. We’ve been handling stones for quite a while now. The yard gets pretty hot during the summer months, but that's just how it is around here. People usually stop by to look at the slabs we have sitting out. We keep a variety of marble because everyone wants something different for their floors or kitchens. It isn't a fancy setup, just a regular place where we get work done. Most days start early before the sun gets too high. We unload trucks and move things around with the crane. Sometimes the dust is a bit much. My family started this because there is so much stone in the hills nearby. We just keep doing what we know. If you are coming from the main road, just look for the petrol pump and we are right next to it. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty on paper. Most of our time goes into checking the quality of the blocks coming in. Some pieces have more veins than others. It’s natural stuff, so it’s never perfect. That is just how marble works. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, more traffic on the highway now. But the stones stay the same.
