We are located right on N. H. 8, just near the mill here in Rishabhdeo. Most days are just spent moving these heavy blocks of marble and granite around the yard. It gets pretty dusty out here, and the sun beats down on the stone all afternoon. My father started this place a while back, and we just keep it going. There isn't much fancy about it. We have the cranes and the saws running most of the time. Keshariyaji is a busy area, so there is always a truck backing in or leaving for some site. Sometimes the machines act up or the weather makes it hard to move the slabs, but we just deal with it as it comes. It's hard work, and our clothes usually have that white stone powder on them by noon. We don't have a big office or anything, just a small space to sit and talk to people who stop by. Usually, it's just local contractors or people building a house nearby. We show them what we have on the ground and they pick what they like. It’s mostly just making sure the cuts are okay and the trucks get loaded without any cracks. It is loud here because of the highway traffic and the cutting, but you get used to it after a few years. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the accounts are settled at the end of the day. Nothing more to it than that.
