Shree Shiwa Marbles & Granites

Our shop, Shree Shiwa Marbles & Granites, is tucked away at 24 Panchsheel Marg, right near Town Hall Road. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our door. We deal with marble and granite, mostly just keeping the slabs organized and helping people figure out what they need. It’s not a very large place, but we make it work. Working with stone is heavy, honest work. We spend a lot of time cleaning off the dust because it gets everywhere, especially in the summer months. Being near Town Hall Road means we see a lot of people passing by every day. Some people just wander in out of curiosity. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy things for us. It’s just us here, doing the work. Sometimes we lose track of time when we’re moving the granite pieces around. They are very heavy, so you have to be careful. We like being in this part of town. It feels like we are right in the middle of everything. It can get a bit loud with the traffic on Panchsheel Marg, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We’ve been here long enough that the locals know where to find us. We just focus on the stone and making sure the shop stays in order. That’s what a typical day looks like for us and our small crew.
