Shree Ram General Store

Shree Ram General Store is right on the Udaipur Road in Mavli Junction. Since we are on the main road, we get a lot of people stopping by who are just passing through, along with our usual local crowd. The store is a bit of a hub for various daily items. We carry all the groceries you’d expect, like different kinds of flour, spices, and snacks. We also keep a stock of cold drinks and biscuits for the travelers. The place isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of wall space for hanging bags of chips and packets of spices. It gets quite dusty because of all the vehicles driving past on the Udaipur Road, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the jars and the counter. We’ve been here long enough to see the road change and get busier over the years. We aren't trying to compete with the big city shops; we just provide what’s necessary for the people nearby. It’s just me and my brother mostly, taking turns to watch the shop. We don’t have a fancy billing system, just a notepad and a pen to keep track of things. Sometimes we sit outside on a bench when it’s slow, just watching the traffic go by. It’s a simple life running a shop here. We just try to keep the shelves full and the prices fair for everyone.
