Shree Provision & General Store

Shree Provision & General Store is located on Road No - 10 in Ashok Nagar. We are at number 5, right where the street gets a bit narrow. It’s a neighborhood shop where we sell just about everything you might need for the house. We have big metal tins filled with biscuits and rows of glass jars for the different types of pulses and lentils. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling, so we have to use a small wooden ladder to reach the things at the top, like the big packs of detergent or the plastic buckets. The morning starts with the milk delivery, and we have to get those crates inside before the sun gets too hot. We know most of the families on Road 10, and we often have their grocery lists ready before they even ask. It’s a simple setup with a wooden counter that has grown smooth over the years from people leaning on it while they chat. We keep some basic medicines and stationery items too, just in case someone needs them late at night. The shop has a comfortable, lived-in feel to it. There’s always a little bit of a scramble when the school kids come in for their snacks in the afternoon. We don't do any big advertising; people just know we are here and that we usually have what they are looking for on our shelves.
