Shree Pooja Marbles

We are located right opposite the Diamond Petrol Pump here in Sukher, sharing space with Sanwaria Marbles. It’s a busy spot. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot because moving these heavy slabs takes a lot of energy. We’ve been at this for a while now. You’ll see us out in the yard checking the stock or helping load up a truck that’s headed out. There is always a lot of dust in the air around here, that’s just how it is when you work with stone. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. It’s mostly just us, the marble, and the crane. People stop by after filling up their tanks across the street. Sometimes they just want to see what colors we have in the back. We try to keep things organized but with new blocks coming in and pieces going out, the layout changes every week. It’s hard work, especially during the summer months when the stone gets really warm to the touch. We just focus on getting the slabs cut and ready. There’s no big secret to what we do. We just show up, look at the material, and make sure it’s what was asked for. It's a simple life here in the industrial area. We know the neighbors and they know us. Most of the guys working here have been doing this since they were young. If you find yourself in Sukher, you'll see our sign near the pump.
