Shree Marbles & Suppliers

Our place is G-1, 207 in Sukher Udyog Vihar, right across from Vineet Udhyog, in Udaipur. It is a standard industrial plot, nothing too flashy. We do a mix of things here, acting as suppliers for different projects. Some days we are just moving pallets around, and other days we are dealing with individual customers who want to see every single slab in the stack. It can be tedious work, shifting heavy stone just to show the one at the bottom, but that is part of the deal. The area around here is full of workshops, so there is always the sound of cutting and grinding in the background. We try to keep our inventory lists updated, but usually, it is easier just to walk out into the yard and see what is actually there. We aren't big on corporate meetings or long reports. We usually just talk over a cup of tea in the morning and decide what needs to get done. The dust is a constant companion. It gets into the office and on the chairs, no matter how much we sweep. We have built some good relationships with the local builders over the years. They know where to find us and they know we don't play games with the numbers. We just provide the stone and keep the business moving. It is a simple operation and we like it that way.
