Shree Ji Marbles

So, we are Shree Ji Marbles and you can find us at No.19-A in Mograwadi. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. We don't have any of those shiny brochures or a fancy reception area. When you walk in, you’re basically walking right into the workspace where the marble is stored. Mograwadi is the kind of place where people know each other, so we see a lot of the same faces coming around. We have been working with these stones for a long time now. It’s heavy work, and sometimes the pieces are a bit unpredictable, but that’s just how natural stone is. We don't try to hide the chips or the rough bits on the edges before they are finished. We just show the slabs as they arrive from the quarry. Most of our day is spent walking around the yard with people, pointing out the different patterns in the marble. Some people want something very white, others like the veins and the colors. We just let them look and decide for themselves without pushing anything on them. The yard can get a bit cluttered when a new shipment arrives, but we try to keep a path clear for walking. It’s just a normal business run by normal people who know a thing or two about marble. If you are looking for 19-A, just look for the stacks of white stone near the road. We are usually around from early morning till the sun goes down.
