Shree Ji Fancy & General Store

We are located over in Kotra Sunder Nagar, specifically in the Shastri Nagar area. This shop started because we saw that people around here needed a place to get both their daily household items and some of the smaller fancy goods. When we say fancy, we mean things like colorful bangles, hair clips, bindis, and maybe some basic makeup items that the local ladies look for. It is a bit of a mix here. On one shelf you might see detergent cakes, and right next to it, there are ribbons or gift wrapping paper. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit in as much as possible so nobody has to go all the way to the big market for small things. We spend most of our day sitting behind the wooden counter, chatting with the aunties who live in the nearby lanes. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood, but we stay busy. Sometimes the kids come in after school wanting a specific type of sticker or a toy, and we have to dig through the boxes to find it. We don't have any big signs or loud music playing. It is just a simple shop with a shutter that we pull up every morning at nine. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but everyone knows where everything is kept. We just keep things moving and try to make sure we have the basics in stock.
