Shree Bagrecha Stone

Down near the Ayad Old Railway Station Road, that’s where you’ll find Shree Bagrecha Stone. It’s an older part of town and we’ve been set up here for quite some time. The road gets a bit dusty with all the traffic near the station, but we don’t mind it much. We have different types of stone sitting out in the yard. Most of the time, we are just moving things around or helping someone pick out a slab for their project. It’s a straightforward business. No big sales pitches here, just the stone and us. We see a lot of people passing by because of the location. Some just want to look, others know exactly what they need. We keep the gate open during the day and usually have someone around to answer questions. It’s not a shiny showroom. It’s more of a working yard where things get done. We handle the loading ourselves most days. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early if we can. Sometimes the stock changes, sometimes it stays the same for a bit. It really depends on what’s coming in from the quarries. We just focus on getting the stone ready and making sure the pieces aren’t cracked when they go out. That’s pretty much the daily routine for us here. It is a simple life and the work keeps us grounded in the neighborhood.
