Shrada Wadapav Center

This little wadapav spot is located right on Birla Road in Fatehpura 1. It’s not much to look at from the outside. We have a small stove and a counter where we put the buns and the potato filling. My uncle started this place because he liked cooking for people in the neighborhood. We don't have a big menu or anything complicated. Just a few things that we know how to make well. The oil gets hot early in the morning and stays hot all day long. Birla Road is always busy, especially in the evenings when people are heading home from work. They stop their scooters and grab a quick snack to eat while they stand around. We use a lot of green chilies. Sometimes they are extra spicy and customers tell us about it with a laugh. The stools we have for sitting are a bit wobbly and old. We should probably get new ones soon if we find the time. It’s a tight space when there are more than three people inside the shop. We don't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that makes a clicking sound. It works fine though for keeping the air moving. We get our supplies from the market every couple of days. Everything is just simple and honest. We’re just here to make some food and earn a living for our families. Fatehpura 1 has been a good spot for us over the years.
