Shivansh Marbles

Our yard is at G 1/87 in the Sukher industrial area. It’s one of those spots where you can hear the sounds of machines cutting through stone almost all day long. When we first set up here, there weren't as many sheds around, but now it’s packed with different businesses. We mostly spend our time moving slabs around with the crane and checking for cracks or bad edges. It’s hard work, and your hands get rough after a while, but that’s just how it goes in the marble business. The Sukher area is always moving, with tractors and heavy loaders going back and forth on the narrow lanes. Inside our space, we try to keep things organized, though the white dust covers everything eventually. We have a small office where we keep the ledgers and a couple of chairs for when someone drops by to see the stock. Most people who come here already know what they want, so we just show them the stacks we have ready. It gets very bright when the sun hits the polished slabs, sometimes you need to squint just to see the patterns. We don’t have a big sales team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the loads get out on time and the inventory stays full. If you’re looking for the plot, it’s easier to find if you just follow the main Sukher road and look for the numbers on the gates.
