Secure Meters Limited is based out of Pratap Nagar Industrial Area, specifically at P.O. Box No. 30. Being in an industrial area means we are surrounded by a lot of manufacturing and heavy activity. It’s not the quietest place to be, but it suits what we do. We’ve been operating out of this location for quite a bit of time. The office setup is pretty basic. We have rows of desks and some storage areas for the meters and parts we handle. We use the PO Box for a lot of our mail. Couriers often get confused with these industrial streets. It’s a dusty place, especially when the wind picks up in the afternoon. We have a small canteen where we get our tea. That’s usually where the best gossip happens. The work is mostly about precision and making sure the numbers add up correctly. We aren't big on meetings that last forever. We prefer to just talk over the partitions or walk over to someone’s desk. The parking is a struggle. People park wherever they find space on the dirt patches outside. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have any art on the walls or fancy rugs. Just the stuff we need to get the day finished. It’s honest work. The people here are good folks who have been around for a long time. We like it here and we keep coming back to finish the jobs. We don't have fancy titles. Just a team getting things done.
