Satvik Marble Pvt. Ltd. is located right over at 21, Link Road. It’s a convenient spot near Town Hall, so there’s always something happening outside our doors. We’ve been operating from this location for quite some time now. The building isn't brand new, but it works for what we do every day. We mostly deal with marble slabs and getting them ready for whoever comes in. Some days it is very quiet and we just sit and drink tea while waiting for the trucks, and other days it feels like everyone in town is coming by at once. Being on Link Road means we see a lot of people passing through. We usually have the doors open unless the wind is blowing too much dust in from the street. It can get a bit loud with the traffic near Town Hall, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a small crew here. Everyone knows their job and we don't bother with a lot of meetings or paperwork if we can help it. We just focus on the marble we have in stock and make sure it's handled right. If someone asks for a specific piece, we go find it in the back ourselves. It’s a straightforward way to run things. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but 21 Link Road stays the same for us. It’s just where we do our daily work.
