Aravali India Marbles & Granites

Our main office for Aravali India Marbles & Granites is located at 225/ 9 Sardarpura. It’s a bit quieter here than it is at the actual processing yards. This is where we handle the books and talk to people about their projects. We have samples of various stones sitting around on the shelves and leaning against the walls. It’s not a corporate skyscraper or anything, just a regular office where we do our work. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating between the quarries and the transport companies. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when three trucks show up at once and we have to figure out the paperwork for all of them. We started this business because we knew the local stone industry well. We don’t go in for big promises or fancy talk. We just tell people what we have available and when we can get it to them. It’s a lot of coordination. My cousin helps with the accounts and I spend most of my time talking to customers. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for faxes or emails to come through. It’s a comfortable place to work, even if the desks are always a little bit dusty from the samples we keep. We like being in Sardarpura because it is easy for people to find us when they are in town.
