Sanjay Marble

Sanjay Marble is over by the Bagwanda Anaj Mandi. It is a bit different being near the grain market instead of in the main Sukher cluster. You get a different kind of crowd here. Some mornings you see the tractors coming in with grain, and right next to them are the trucks loaded with marble. It makes for an interesting mix of smells and sounds. We have a smaller setup compared to the massive yards on the highway, which lets us keep a closer eye on everything. We handle the stone with a lot of care. It is mostly just us and a few helpers. We don't have a big fancy sign or a glass showroom. The stone is out in the open where the light can hit it. We spend a lot of our time just talking to locals who are building their first home. They have a lot of questions, and we try to give them straight answers without any sales talk. It feels more like a community here. We know the guys at the mandi and they know us. Sometimes we share a meal or a tea when things are slow. It’s a bit more relaxed than the big industrial zones. We just focus on the pieces we have and make sure they get to where they need to go without any cracks. Most of the work here is done by the same people every single day.
