Samrat Marbles

Samrat Marbles is located on N. H. 8 in Sukher. We are right across the road from Tulsi Marbles, so we are easy to spot if you are driving by. Sukher is a place where everyone seems to be selling stone, so competition is always around us. We’ve been here for a while, just doing our thing with marble slabs. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving these heavy pieces around so people can see the patterns in the sunlight. We don't have a website or fancy brochures to show off. If you want to see what we have, you just have to come by and walk through the yard with us. Some of the marble is local and some comes from further away. We try to be honest about what each piece is like. If there’s a flaw or a natural vein that looks different, we point it out. It’s better that way so nobody gets a surprise when it's installed. The highway is always loud with trucks, and the dust is everywhere, but we are used to it by now. We usually have a pot of tea going and we’re happy to sit and talk for a bit about anything. We don't have any big plans to expand or become a huge company. We just want to keep the business going and provide for our families. It’s a simple way to live and work, and it suits us just fine enough for now.
