Rohit Marble

We started Rohit Marble a long time ago. We are right on N.H.8, just a bit past the Eklingnath Petrol Pump in Sukher. If you are driving that way, you can’t really miss the big stacks of stone. It’s a family-run place, and we spend most of our hours out in the yard. The sun gets hot out here, but we are used to it by now. We carry a lot of different marble slabs. Some are plain and some have lots of patterns. People come from all over the area to look at what we have in stock. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. There is just a small desk where we handle the bills and talk to customers. Sometimes the yard gets a bit messy with all the loading and unloading, but we try to keep it moving. My cousins help with the heavy lifting and the cutting when it's needed. We don't do much talking, we just show people the stone and let them decide. It is a straightforward way of working. Most of our neighbors are in the same business, so it’s a busy part of town. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but the highway always stays busy. If you need some marble for a floor or a counter, we usually have something that will work. We just take it day by day here in Sukher.
