Rockmet Granulti is over at 7, Ladnun House. That’s in the Modern Complex in Bhuwana. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. We handle stone and granite mostly. The office is small and a bit cramped with all the paperwork. We spend most of our time dealing with the actual slabs and getting them loaded onto the trucks. Bhuwana is a growing area. There is always construction going on nearby. We fit right in with the noise. We aren't a big corporation. Just a few of us trying to run a business day to day. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to answer the phones specially. We just pick up the phone and talk to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the yard gets crowded and it’s hard to move the forklift between the rows. We have to be careful when moving things. The stone is expensive and we don't want to break anything. We’ve had some very long days here. Sometimes the heat in the summer is almost too much to handle. We just drink plenty of water and keep going until the job is done. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to sell our granite and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s honest work. People in the Modern Complex know us. We’ve been at Ladnun House long enough to be part of the furniture. We just keep doing what we know how to do.
