Operating out of Bohera Haveli is different than being in a modern office park. It’s got those old walls and that feeling of Kalkaji Goraji that you don't find everywhere. Rock Solid Stone Exporters is based right here. We deal with heavy stuff, stones mainly, so the dusty air is just part of the day. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially around the haveli. We spend a lot of time checking orders and making sure the trucks are going where they should. The streets around here aren't the widest, so getting things in and out takes a bit of patience. I’ve spent many years in this spot. You see the same faces every morning. It's a bit of a maze sometimes if you aren't familiar with the area. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It's more about the crates and the weight of the slabs. The stone business is heavy work. My hands are usually a bit rough from touching the samples all day. We just keep our heads down and handle the exporting side of things. It’s not glamorous, but it is what we know. Kalkaji Goraji has a lot of history, and working out of a place like Bohera Haveli makes you feel like you're part of that. We just do the job and go home when the sun sets. There isn't much more to it than that.
