Rishabh Marble

Our yard is located on Shikarbadi Road in the Bedla area. If you are looking for us, we are near P.O Sapetia. It’s a bit of a dusty road, but that’s normal for a place that handles marble all day long. We have stacks of slabs leaning against the walls and out in the open yard. It’s a lot of white and grey stone everywhere you look. We spend our days moving these heavy pieces around with the crane. It’s a slow process because you don’t want to chip the edges or break a slab. The guys here have been working with stone for a long time, so they know exactly how to handle it without causing trouble. We have a small room where we keep our tools and take our tea breaks in the afternoon. It’s nothing special, just a place to get out of the sun for a bit. Bedla is a decent place to work, even if the road gets a bit bumpy with the truck traffic. We mostly just deal with the marble as it arrives from the quarries. Sometimes we have to sort through a whole lot of stones to find the right pieces for a specific order. It’s physical work and it keeps you tired by the end of the shift. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, making sure the marble is ready for whenever it needs to go out.
