Regency Ceramics Limited

Udaipur is where we are, specifically in the Ambamata Scheme area at Bhatt Wari. Regency Ceramics Limited is based at I-533, and it’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. We don't go in for anything too polished or corporate. Most of our time is spent looking through the inventory and helping people who need tiles for a kitchen or maybe a porch. Rajasthan gets really hot in the summer months, so we spend a lot of the day trying to stay cool while we work. The job involves a lot of manual labor, since ceramic tiles are heavy and you have to be careful not to chip them when you are moving crates around. We’ve been in this spot for some time, so we know the local contractors and a lot of the families who live around Bhatt Wari. It’s a regular part of our day to have a bit of tea and talk about the news while we wait for deliveries. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that, we just rely on being here and being honest about what we have in stock. If we don’t have a certain tile, we just say so. It’s a very basic way of running a business, but it seems to work for the folks in Udaipur. We just open up, dust the shelves, and get on with things.
