About Real Marble & Granites – Building & Construction Material in Udaipur
We sit right out on the bypass highway at Ambegaon Badruk. It's number 34/8 if you're looking for us on the map. Most days start pretty early here because the Mumbai-Bangalore traffic gets loud fast. We spend a lot of time just moving slabs around with the crane so people can see the different patterns in the marble and granite we keep in the yard. It gets dusty being so close to the highway, so we are always spraying water on the stones to show the real colors underneath all that road grime. Some people stop in because they're building a house nearby, while others are just passing through on the bypass and saw the signs. We don't do much fancy talking here. It’s mostly just us and the stones. The sun hits the granite really hard in the afternoon, making it hot to touch, but that's just how it is in Sukher. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, watching the trucks go by. Sometimes the traffic is backed up all the way past our gate, and other times it’s clear. We keep the yard open mostly during the daylight hours because you can't really see the quality of a stone once the sun goes down. If you come by, you’ll probably see us wearing old clothes covered in stone dust. It's heavy work, but it keeps us busy. We just try to keep things organized so we know where everything is when someone asks.
