Queen Sarees & Art

Our shop is located right on City Palace Road. It’s a place that gets a lot of foot traffic, especially with people visiting the nearby sights. We deal in sarees and various types of local art. The shop isn't massive, but we try to keep a good variety of things on the shelves for people to look at. It can get quite cramped when there are more than a few people inside at once, but we make it work. We spend our days showing different fabrics to anyone who walks in and explaining how some of the art pieces are made. It's a bit of a dusty job sometimes, handling all those textiles, but we enjoy it. The road outside is always full of life, with vendors and travelers passing by all the time. We don't really have a big website or a social media person. Most people just stumble upon us while they’re walking down the street. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve seen the area change over the years. We just try to keep a decent selection of sarees for people to look at. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We open the shutters in the morning and stay until the street starts to quiet down in the evening. There's no big corporate strategy here; we just like what we do and we’re glad to be in this part of town. We hope you find something you like.
